Default Ivan coming.

I'm going to bail off the island in the AM.
(Pensacola Beach on Santa Rosa Island, 7 miles
off the coast on a narrow barrier island)

Me and my gang were just on CNN!! LOL All lit up and ranting,
from free Bushwackers at the Islander Lounge, baby!!! LOLOL

Got all the windows boarded up and clothes packed
but going to wait til tomorrow morning to leave.

I gonna lose my reef tank though, thousands of dollars
of SPS Corals, rock, critters, and fishies
ARRGH But the rest of the house and contents
are insured.

Kinda sad to sit and look at the guys knowing they are doomed :-(
The Island Authority has a habit of not letting us back on the
island for a couple days... and with no power and the house
sealed up, it doesn't look good for the ole reef....

Stashed the Vette in town earlier today, safe in a brick garage.
And borrowed a minivan ;-)

See you guys when I see ya :-)

Good luck. I was watching the news, theres already huges amounts of traffic
leaving New Orleans so you might want to leave early AM )

I guess its too late for a UPS? Car battery with one of those battery powered
air pumps?

I'm just leaving the island and going to the mainland
in Pensacola. I'll bunker down there. I'm not getting
on those freaking freeways ;-)

So Ric,

What happened with your tank? And now that Jeanne is over
FL, where are you now?

Marc
