Default What to do...

Looks like the economy has forced me to move. The really sad part is that I
won't be able to keep the salt tank. My problem is where or how do I sell
my 140 lbs of LR and other livestock? The tank was set up as FOWLR so I
haven't spent any time or money on corals or other invertebrates. Still,
the LR does have some growth on it. Mostly macro algae of one kind or
another.

Any suggestions?

Justin

rec.aquaria.marketplace

These two websites have a classifieds section:
www.nano-reef.com
www.reefcentral.com

You could always try your LFS, but they probably wont give you much for it.
And then there's ebay, lots of stuff on there.

My thoughts exactly, though the chances of him living close enough
are slim....g

I would like to clarify that I will be keeping the tank itself (custom
built) and equipment. It's the livestock that I need to clear out. Here's
a complete inventory:

~140 lbs of live rock (cured but young)
1 Hawaiian Yellow Tang
3 Damsels
1 Serpent Seastar
1 Brittle Seastar (This guy hides real well, I haven't seen him in 3 days.)
~20 Margarita Snails
3 Turbo Snails

I even have a 100 gal agriculture tub I use for salt water prep that can be
used to transport the rock. This would really help to keep the rock from
spending too much time out of water.

I live in Eugene!!!! What's your time frame for losing the stuff? I'm
interested, please email me with some numbers at

vincentbill at hotmail.com

I don't think I'd be able to handle ALL the LR, but the livestock,
most certainly....

I'm open to offers.
I would also like to sell it in one package (who wouldn't, huh?).
I paid over $300 for the rock and $90 for the livestock. Asking $250 for
all the rock and livestock.
