oscars or african cichlids

uhm....my mother bought 5...1inch african cichlids that are all dif
colors from the lfs...because the 2 2" oscars in a 55 is a waste of
water and electricity and boring...thats why she bought the cichlids ive
had the oscars for a month and became attach to them...but i like the
africans and the oscars...adn i kno i wont be able to keep both....but
what would yu do if ya had a choice between oscars and african cichlids


p.s. i started the fish hobby for my mother to relax her nerves because
she has heart problems...but she says 2oscars are a waste and i
tell her that they are going to get big real soon...but she says
that they arent gonna be big tomrow...so iwas wondering if i should
take back th oscars or th cichlids? thanks
