I am replacing a HOT Magnum with a Filstar XP2. Since I have the biowheel
from the HOT, I'd like to use it with the XP2. Has anyone done this before, and if so how did you modify the filstar return tubing? I'm thinking I may need to just build my own with PVC, so I can use a T to shunt water to the biowheel and water to a spray bar (similar to the XP spray bar). Is there special PVC and or PVC cement for use with aquariums, or will regular home depot pvc and 'purple' pvc cement be suitable? Thanks! |
