Google is being difficult this morning.

We had a snake visit last night.
Along with its 11 year old friend, a neighbor
boy from down the street.
He wanted to know what kind of snake it was
and if it was a rattlesnake, which we will get
around here from time to time.
It was a checkered garter snake. Kind of pretty
in a snakey way...
We talked about what a rattlesnake would look
like and what to watch for.
A fun way to spend the evening!
