I have marine fish tank (over 2years now) and it is a reef tank,
with live rock, corals...

I was looking here for people WITH THEIR OWN EXPERIENCE
on keeping maroon clowns in a FO (not reef) setup...

filters, be they canister, or large internal's. I know of one bloke that
uses a two foot tank with bio-balls, and filter material, as a filter..
You also need a protein Skimmer, Sure you can do it on the cheap, minimal
expense, and the result will be dead fish..
This is the reason why most fish keepers, stay clear of marine, and
stick with tropical. Myself included.
