Hi,
I have just bought a Juwel 400 from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...DME:L:RTQ:UK:1 My plan is to set this tank into a marine tank. I have read various stuff online about how to do it but am a little unsure as to advice from other people as I feel getting a variety of opinions is better than just a few who have a profit to make (ie aquatic shops). The size of the tank is 151cm x 62cm x 51cm. It has its own heater but am unsure whether the canister filter which comes with it is capable of doing the job for a marine tank - it was previously used as a tropical tank. I have been advised to get a wet/dry filter with built in protein skimmer. Are there any quiet ones which are reasonably priced which anyone can recommend? I am unsure about whether to keep just fish or coral as well. What are the differences between running a fish only tank and one with fish and coral? Basically I want a list of what I am gonna need to set this monster up! ps I am from the UK. |
