Have you tried the Hikari brand algae wafers? They've never clouded my
tanks.

I feed my silver dollars hikari algae wafers daily (2 in the morning and 1
in the evening) and it has NOT ever clouded my water as far as I know. It's
good stuff, I agree with elaine. Much recommended.
