Default Why are my convict cichlids eating their own eggs?

Perhaps they like caviar better than the fish food you're serving them now?

My convict cichlids lay about 50 eggs a month but they end up eating all
of them. How can i prevent them from eating their own babies. I feed
them extra food when they have babies just so that they don't eat
them, but it's not working. I always thought convict cichlids take very
good care of their babies. What shall I do?
