Well, I seem to have finally gotten a grip on my 29 gal reef-to-be.
ammonia 0 nitrites 0 nitrates 10 (I think these will continue to drop) phosphates 0 pH 8.3 kH 145 calcium 460 ppm One thing that helped a lot was I took the foam sleeve out of my overflow, and instead cut out some pieces of filter pad that would do the same thing, and these are changed out every day so there's no nasties sitting there and percolating. Now I'm getting the itch to get a critter ![]() thanks for all the great info folks! Mark P.S. What's the best salt mix? ![]() |
