Morning all,
Been lurking and enjoying this group for a couple months now (as long as I've been in the hobby) and have learned alot! Thanks for all the info. I'm switching my 24" X 16" X 18" ,37 Gal FOLR from crushed shell and gravel substrate to sand this weekend and would like to drill a hole for a future sump while it's empty. What would the minimum size be for the drain hole? I would imagine it would depend on the sump size and return pump. I will probably modify a 20 Gal. for the sump and could use help on what size of pump to use too. Any feedback would be *greatly* appreciated as most of the books at our library are really out dated and would like more that just the word from the LF stores. Thanks! Glen G (GG) -- .. |
