Default traveling snail to the filter....

Here is one more to tell you what an airhead I have been, I seen those
jungle clear water tabs, and picked them up because even with water changes
my goldfish tank was still cloudy, I was to the point I was changing some
water every day, not a lot but still, I was telling my husband I got them so
the tank would be purple (so he did not think the kids put something in it)
he started to laugh and said how about I just clean it with the tank sponge
...I said for what that wont make the water clear, he went in and cleaned it
and sure enough it was clear as new water....eww ....he just smiled at me
and went back to what he was doing...it never occurred to me that it was the
glass and not the water....

*grin* A long time ago, I commented on how clear a friend's tanks were.
He told me that the one thing that makes a tank look its best is to
have clean glass both inside and out. It's one of the best little bits
of advice I've ever gotten.

I had friends over from the aquarium society over to see my tanks and
they commented on how clear the water was. They didn't believe me, but
I'm sure it's because I scrupulously cleaned the glass that morning.
