I once moved a 100 Gallon tank. I suggest getting a few 35 gallon
garbage cans so you can keep as much of your original water as possible. DO NOT move the tank with anything in it. This can weaken the seams and cause a leak when you get it moved. I've moved tanks in the past with no live sand and plenty of rock and re-established them without a noticeable cycling. Just put everything back in the tank and it was ok. With the sand bed (and all the poisons that lurk in the lower layers, as I understand it), can I do the same thing or do I need to find a temporary home for the fish and corals? Tommy |
