![]() "Tippi" wrote in message ups.com... Hi, I read many older posts which suggest that not giving food for 2 weeks will not harm fish when on vacation. But what about a dwarf frog? the other denizens in the tank are a couple of guppies, 3 scissors, 2 glass cats, 1 cat fish, 1 algea eater. ===================== I can't speak for the frog but this isn't a good idea in my opinion. Two week weeks without food is long time for some fish. Isn't there anyone who can come in every few days and feed them? What about evaporation or a stuck heater? Also what if the filter fails? This happened to my brother and his wife and just about everything was dead when they got back. They were gone for only a week. They thought it probably failed shortly after they left. -- KL....
