Just about everything I ever read about Copperband Butterflies mentioned
that they are extremely difficult to get to eat. In my usual ill-advised fashion, I picked up the first nice looking juvie I found. (I`m a sucker for juvies). It`s been 2 months now, and I must say that this fish has been eating prepared foods since day one. I use those San Francisco frozen foods, like "Marine Cuisine". It eats everything I introduce into the tank, without hesitation. It also grazes on the rock all day (yes, Ive lost a few tube worms). I don`t get the Reputation this fish carries. I cant believe I`m one of the few "Lucky" ones to pick up a Copperband. I`d bet that Copperbands do much better in established Live-Rock tanks. |
