I've read similar articles regarding the toxicity of zoos but have never seen any notices regarding this in any of the LFS's I frequent, even though they generally clearly mark stuff as toxic if it is, nor seen them take any particular precautions when handling them. I wonder if the laid back attitude to them is because they are so common. I also wonder if some species are more toxic than others and whether the everyday button polyps on sale are of the less toxic variety. From reading the post it sounded as if the OP was trying to rid himself of "pest" zoos from his LR...... Gill |
