I finally got around to sifting all the crush coral out of my sand.
But, in the midst, I found a hard shell crab, about the size of a silver dollar, white body, and black pincers. I have a pic that I'll get off my camera tomorrow. I found parts of the sand that had turned to mud. I found only two small bristle worms, so maybe I can get some detrivores to take hold now with the lighter sand. I added 40# of silty (sugar) sand to the mix. --Kurt |
