Default Female Angel and parasites

|| As far as the Algae goes - if I let it go, it gets so bad I can't see
|| into the tank. That's only happened once. Not only does it look
|| disgusting in my dining room, but I can't see the fish I paid for.
|| THat's my problem with the algae - that and it can't be good for the
|| fish.

Algae has no effect on fish... period... no effect. In fact, algae has some
benefits to some fish... as food, algae grazers require a bit of algae to
supplement their diets... other fish, that's all they eat..

in your specific case, maybe you don't like the algae, but it's got no
consequence on the fish...

In my case, I want algae... in some places... it's aesthetically pleasing in
some ways.. For your aquarium, if you find that you dont' want to see it,
scrape your glass and it's gone... if it's everywhere, that's a whole
different story...
