I moved them to a 10 gal with nothing but a flat rock (no gravel), and used
the same water that was in the old tank. Temperature is 26-29 degrees celcius and PH is 7.2. They're in the spare bedroom and I feed them frozen brine shimp. What else can I do? "mark" wrote in message ... Suggest you feed with mosquito larvae etc - lots of meaty stuff Don't get your hopes up it can take 3 or 4 attempts before they get the hang of it The lay then forget the eggs Lay and eat the eggs/eat the fry Check the glass....has she laid on the glass already? You may get some wholesale tank refurbishment if she is going in for serious motherhood. If yiou have catfish/loaches in the tank...move them as they will eat the eggs at night...Snails are keen on the eggs too Good luck...don't fiddle about with them too much, they can be a little nervy A couple of small waterchanges might spur them in to action ---------------------------------------------- Posted with NewsLeecher v1.0 beta 27 * Binary Usenet Leeching Made Easy * http://www.newsleecher.com/?usenet ---------------------------------------------- |
