if there is a lot of debris you are overfeeding and maybe feeding the wrong food.
find higher protein food with less "filler" like corn or wheat. feed MUCH MUCH less and the fish will grow. if you are seeing their poop, it is diagnostic of over feeding or problems. see diagnosis by poop here. http://users.megapathdsl.net/~solo/p...se/disease.htm what you need is better filter too. get rid of the gravel BTW and the tank will stay cleaner. Or are there any other creatures better suited to this? I don't have live plants in my tank, and don't want to fuss with them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List Manager: Puregold Goldfish List http://puregold.aquaria.net/ www.drsolo.com Solve the problem, dont waste energy finding who's to blame ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Unfortunately, I receive no money, gifts, discounts or other compensation for all the damn work I do, nor for any of the endorsements or recommendations I make. |
