I am "hospitaling" a few fantail goldfish, and they laid some eggs. I
took the chunk of algae the eggs were in to another tank that had been
pretty much idle.

I have seen 24 fry so far, and not one with a double tail. Seems like
there should be a few, anyway.

they all are straight, like normal goldfish. When do fantails develop
the distorted body shape? Or do I have a bunch of normal fish now?

thanks
