Default Has this ever happend to you?

I stopped by my classroom this evening for just a couple of minutes to check
on my aquariums. Thursday I added to my 55 gallon tank an "algae pack" from
That Fish Place. I wanted to make sure those critters were doing okay and
to test the water. Everything was going fine. I then pulled up a chair to
check on the individual snails, hermits, and emerald crabs. Well, I'm sure
you can tell where this is headed. Instead of "just a couple of minutes", I
sat and watched the tank for three hours! I'm not complaining (or
exagerating) at all, but I had no idea that time was flying by so quickly!
It was truly facinating watching a turbo snail clear a path through the
algae on my rock. Uh oh, I just thought of something. . . .I'll be teaching
when at the begining of class I say "Okay class, if you look here at the
reef aquarium you'll notice a member of the mollusk family, and here this is
a . . . oh cool look at that, and that, and that. . ." Then I hear a
student say, "Mr. McCarty, I think class is over, there are kids at the
door." . . . oh yes I can see it now (LOL).
