So I got busy with life and neglected the pond for about a month. The
result? The fish are getting huge. The frogs outnumber the fish like 10 to 1. The plants are growing like crazy. I also had a ton of string algae, which turned out to be great. In removing the algae, I found lots of pine needles and leaves caught in the stringy mass. Seems this string algae is a great garbage collector! BV. |
