Default Rec.ponds Roll Call?

Just wondering if rec.ponds ever does a roll call every now and then?

Just to see where everyone is from and what other interests and hobbies
they may have?

Hello!

We are Lyn and John; married for 32 years and we live in McMechen, WV. We
have three grown children and three granddaughters. John runs his own small
HVAC business. I'm the office people and our sons work with him. I'm late
adding our info, but I have a GOOD excuse; we're re-doing our pond! LOL!
Yes, I admit it; we're PORGs! I started this "pond thing" in our family
after seeing a friend's pre-form, and now my DH is as addicted as I am and
(our three grown children all have aquariums--they don't own their homes
yet; but they all want ponds) Addictive; isn't it? LOL!

We started out with a 50 gallon Rubbermaid tank that our friends gave us 3
years ago, which we outgrew within 2 weeks, and now we have somewhere
between 1,000 and 1,300 gallons depending upon which pond calculator we use.
LOL! We just enlarged our pond and added a small stream and are TRYING to
finish the edging so we can sit and enjoy it before summer ends. John is
great at getting ideas for pond accessories and building them from scratch.
I do days worth of research and come up with plans that he never uses; he
just "knows" what to do! Handy, but frustrating! LOL!

We have 2 large and 3 small koi and an assortment of babies that we thought
were koi, but found out today that most of them are shubunkins! BUMMER!
They're gorgeous fish, but we love the koi's personalities! They're like
little wet dogs! ROFLMBO! We've never seen anything like them!

Thank you all SO MUCH for the advice and chit-chat that I love reading each
day!

Lyn & John
