usually a single swollen eye is mechanical damage. just do water changes until the
nitrates are 20 ppm or less. a little epsom salts, like 1/8 teaspoon may help with teh swelling. Ingrid "Andrew" wrote: I;ve just been away for a few days, and when I got back, I noticed that my wife had turned off the filter!! Not sure yet how long its been off (maximum 2 days) until she gets back from work for me to ask her, but have noticed that one of the fish has a puffed up right eye. It's like a clear swelling, which I have tried to capture on these photo's- http://www.ardwebdesign.co.uk/site/p...fish/index.htm I've done a 30% water change today, anyone know what this problem is and what I can do to treat it?
