Algae Vanishing

Hi People,

Last week I bought some plants, which I was happy to find at my LFS.
Though they were infested with algae I nevertheless bought them as I
dont find plants very often at my LFS. To my surprize, the algae are
now doing the vanishing act. I didnt add anything to the water. Theres
no CO2 reactor either.
Algae are automatically disappearing and the plants are appearing
healthier, and are growing. Any possible explanations ?
