I couldn't view your picture, but I wonder if yours is a silver molly?
Once a long time ago my mom got a silver molly that developed black dots. We were really worried about it and felt pretty stupid when it turned out to be a dalmatian molly. ~Elizabeth "Dave__" wrote in message ... Howdy, I am hoping someone has an answer to this question... I have a molly who over the last 3 months has developed black dots. Not just one or two but all over its body. These dots are not moving and I have other mollys in the tank and none of them have these dots. Now, the Molly seems just fine, it eats everything i toss into the tank, it acts just like a molly should. I thought maybe it was pregnant, but 3 months have gone by and nothing... It's not mold, at least i don't think it is.. One person at my local fish mart said that if you feed exotic food to some species of fish they can grow spot... Now i feed my tank some myosis shrimp and blood worms a couple of times a week and just the standard flake the rest of the time... Ive attached a picture, its not a very good one as I can not get it to stand still long enough to get a good picture... Any ideas???? Cheers, Dave___ |
