They are both just packages of calcium hydroxide. If you buy it from the LFS you pay 500% (and up) more for packaging and marketing. I think we're targeted because so many of us WILL pay a lot of money for something we need, (400 for a skimmer, 1000 for a box of rocks) so we're being taken advantage of.
