Pleco.
Hi,
Is it a good idea to have a pleco in a tank with only goldfish in it? Can it survive?

On the up-side, with all the food going through the Goldies, there might be lots of algae growing for the plec ;~). On the down-side, if there is no algae, there are big slow slime-covered Goldies for the plec to possibly bother (not all plecs are strict vegetarians, and hunger is a very good motivator). As a comment, plecs prefer soft warm well-oxygenated water, while Goldies tend more towards cooler more alkaline water. It's not a match made in heaven nor is it unsurvivable.
