Carol Gulley posts....

Hmmm....but I don't post them.....do you even know what my true colours
are?????

Please, hit the reply to button and take this off of the newsgroup....

It is not about flattery, it is about reality and how much you know about
stuff....far more than I do....so bite me for saying it.....

people, can we please get to my thread. i know how it is with views and
territory in usenet but c'mon i need the help here! i really want to enter
the world of marine , i am reading up as i type, but i am waiting for real
people to give real live advice!

It's called rec.aquaria. **freshwater** .misc for a reason Gav ;~). We
could easily advise you on equipment requirements moving from salt to fresh,
and we could discuss the various freshwater set-ups which are possible.
There are also various marine set-ups possible, but for this you're better
off in a marine forum or marine newsgroup. That's where you'll find a
variety of opinions and recommendations to choose from.

Actually most visitors typically comment on how well behaved and civil it is
in rafm, especially as there are often many different opinions to reconcile.
It's simply 'respect', for opinions, hopefully being expressed in a positive
and helpful way. Sometimes that respect (given and received) falters and
then it gets less positive or helpful. Almost feels like a family BBQ ;~)

LOL
yea easy enuf to just swap it all accross mate, cannisters are great for
marine just clean a bit more often.
Grab some black mollies for your marine tank.
easy fish and nice to have them for 2 months before trying something
expensive.
Beware any metal in the tank and that includes impellor shafts in
cannisters!
