I wonder if these crabs we refer to as Blue Crabs are the same as the ones
up north?
The ones here are mostly on ground or under the ground, but I have seen them
under water.
I know that some people eat them. Nobody ate Stone Crabs before Joes opened
up. So go figure.

They aren't. I've lived in both places (Maryland and Florida) and have
seen both species. They are *definitely* not the same.
