Excuse me, but clearly you have NOT been comprehending OUR election
process. If you were paying as much attention to the actual results
(48% for John Kerry, 51% for George Bush) instead of ranting in an
inappropriate forum, you would realize that GWB didn't win by much. To
make this even easier for your simple mind to understand, that means
nearly 1 out of 2 people voted AGAINST George Bush.

And *more* than 1 out of 2 people voted AGAINST Kerry.

Your point, idiot?

My point was to show that not *everyone* went GWB's way. Personally, I
could give a rat's ass one way or the other, they're both loosers.

221 million Americans were eligible to vote, but only 115 million did vote.

Effectively, "None of the above" got 48% of all potential votes, Bush got
26.5% , and Kerry got 24.9% .

That shows that most Americans don't really care. Like me.

So could we get back to talking about aquariums, please?

I have long thought urging everyone that is eligible to vote is
insane. Interested eligible voters seems much safer. Why have
someone voting on ecological issues that hasn't any knowledge on the
subject, let alone economics or war?

At least in these groups we are offering our experienced opinions. No
one is forced to live by our opinions. I think women should have the
abortion option, but I sure would not want to vote that all women
should be forced to have abortions if the fetus did not seem to be
healthy.

I see that you have a point.

But what does this have to do with aquariums?
Please notice the names of the groups this thread is cross-posted to.
