Thanks, I will remember the point about the male platys.
About the fitler. I have some what limited space and because of the hood of the tank, I have to hang the filter on the back of the tank but I really want to hang it on the side. The water flow is also at a better direction (as my tank is originally set up as a feng shui tank) and right now, the filter flow water towards the door. This may not be of any concern to some but if I am getting a new fitler, I'd like to figure out how I can get the filter to hang on the side, or to get an underwater one to eliminate the water flow problem entirely. But it looks like the recommendations are not good! Any other suggestions welcome! |

That would leave you with a small canister filter of some kind. There would only be two hoses involved. There are those small inside-the-tank filters as a last resort. -- ZB.... Juliet, TN ============================= Anyone can see you need professional help desperately Roy Tristan Hauer, as I am apparently destroying your life by merely existing. Prozac, maybe Thorazine can help you get over your obsession with me and professional counseling can help you get over using personal attacks, fantasies and slander as an ego builder and attention getter. Talk to your Dr at the VA hospital about the proper medications to help you control yourself. You can live a normal life free of hate, lies, feelings of inferiority and obsessions but you must make an effort to help yourself. Don't you want to feel good about yourself again? Your Dr at the VA can help you. Net stalking and slandering old grandmothers and disabled veterans wont make you the man you want to be in the eyes of the world. -- ZB....
