Someone threw out a 50 gallon plastic container today,.......

and temperatures hovering around 90°F for most of the day, cooling off
to almost 80°F at night. Ah, now at last,... Spring is hereLOL Pax

Uh oh. Would it help if I told you that someday you'll look back on
this and it will all seem funny? Didn't think so. You need to get your

We recently had that situation when a pipe sprung a leak. I used the
shop vac to get what I could, but things were still pretty wet. We
were advised to peel the carpet back and blow hot air (electric
heaters) on the carpet pad and the underside of the carpet until they
dried, Then do the same for the carpet top if any moisture remained.
It took several days, but it worked.

Sounds bad papa - did it leak out slowly or just totally give way? Curious
to know as I use sterilite (w*l-m*rt) 35 gallon containers (tote bins) to
use for reservoirs for my auto top off systems and would like to get as much
information about these types of things as I can - just in case. Good luck
for now on and later!

Rent? They're not that expensive, unless you want the top-of-the-line

Well you could come and see what it did to mine,...No need to give you
directions to my home, just follow the stench and you'll find it, right
in the center of a bunch of 'haz-mat' personnel, vehicles and
equipmentLOL~Dean.

I didn't purchase it,...Someone threw it out, and I believe they had
used it to carry blankets and such when they moved in to the building
across the way, because it still had it's manufaturer's store stickers
on it and all..~Dean.

Well it would of been nice, but I have none of those things,...And so my
carpet is still rather wet for the most part.~Dean.

But I have no money to rent any Wet-vac, for that wasn't the only
catastrophe that I have had as of late,...Last month my beloved friend,
Pokie, a cat who was more than twenty years old, or about 96 in cat
years, passed away. On that same day I wrote out my rent cheque, but
being somewhat distracted because of the death of my friend, I
unfortunately failed to record it, thus bringing about a real plague of
monetary problems, especially with the small amount of money that I get
from my monthly Social Security Disability cheque. And because of the
government policy change made by george bush and his banditoes, not only
do I no longer get my medications for free, I was also 'given' a
specific company to cover my medicine needs, one that to my surprise
didn't cover any of my needed medications, so besides the flood, I have
had to deal with the death of my Dear Friend, the severe reduction of
both my money and meds, or with two, even not having a specific medicine
[the latter medicine problem just today being rectified],...But I've
been worse off, and by taking things like the old chinese saying goes,
"E-poo-E-poo-Li", translated into english means, "Step-by-step", I'm
pretty sure that I will make it through.~Dean.

I have no idea where it had been purchased, but according to it's
sticker, it is a fifty gallon Rubbermaid product,...Does that
