Default Help identifying Antique glass headlight lenses ?

I have acquired two different sets of glass headlight lenses. If
someone can help me identify what they might be for, I would appreciate
it.

1.They are stamped Da-Lite 8 3/16 Pat. Pending. These have raised
squares all over which kinda remind me of a waffle pattern.

2. They are stamped Warner Lenz-Pat. June 25,1912-34-D=8 1/4. The last
I'm guessing is the diameter which looks about right. These have raised
circles all over with another raised design in the center.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
