Default 1,9 JTD 16V or....

Hi guys, i'm new at this message-board.

I'm also sure, you already discussed this but:
i'm interested in buyin a restyled 156 SW, but now...
- do you suggest a 1,9JTD or a 2,0JTS engine??

For information: i'm driving up to 15K miles (27K km) in year, the
fuel consuption is not the first and strongest couse, but surely the
second.

What's the real consuption on JTS (in litres if possible) for a normal
driving?

I'm a owner of a 1999 AR 145 1,4TS, so it'll be a great change for
me...

Bye!

it's difficult to say, depend on what you prefer, torque at low revs or putting
the needle at 7000rpm in a great sound !!

if you drive most of the time gently, both are interresting but if you want to
have fun sometime, i would suggest you the 2.0 petrol engine.
The better thing is to test drive both, and let your heart driving.

bye
Bruno.
