Honda Accord Jacks and Kits
I purchased a 1996 Honda Accord with no jack and on ebay purchased a
jack that I realized was for a Honda Accord from 00 through 05. Will this jack work on the older Honda Accord? |

Honda Accord Jacks and Kits
www.slhonda.com 's has an online parts site where one can
compare part numbers for Hondas. You'll find the jack listed under "tools-jack" in the bumper etc. section. The 2002 Honda Accord LX shows two jacks that work for the car. One of them has the same part number as the 1996 Accord LX. The jacks look the same as the two jacks I use on my 91 Civic's jack. One of these jacks came with the car. The second I bought at a junkyard and is rated a bit lower but still well above the weight for my 91 Civic. All the jacks I mention above are the same in appearance. I think I'd just compare the weights of, say, a 2002 Accord and a 1996 Accord and then make a decision from there. www.edmunds.com might have the weights for each, under a "specifications" section. You're probably okay, but I too would check first. > wrote > I purchased a 1996 Honda Accord with no jack and on ebay purchased a > jack that I realized was for a Honda Accord from 00 through 05.
