Default Ford E150 Emissions

84 Econoline 150 with 130K miles bought new by a friend of mine.

Under Visual Inspection PCV and Thermostatic Air Cleaner are listed as
Disconnected, Fuel Cap Functional is listed as Fail, as is Ignition
Timing.

For measured results Everything is (mostly) ok except for the NO, which
is 2x the max.

>From the notes it looked like the tech wrote "Engine Idle Speed High".

I was able to look very briefly at the vehicle at night yesterday, and
noted the pan that clamps down the air filter was missing, as was the
(?)fresh air hose and the pre-heater hose. Likewise the PCV hose.
They all appear to have eroded. For the failed NO I am thinking it is
more likely the EGR than anything? That would seem likely to correlate
to the Idle being off? I've never worked on a ford van before.

Thanks,
Andrew

@15MPH RPM = 1409, %CO2=11.7, %02=4.4, HC Max=129 Meas=67, CO Max=0.84

Yes egr is usually the #1 area for nox, but ignition timing is in there
also. Anything that raises combustion chamber temperature.
