Check Consumer Reports at the library Michelin MX4 plus Energy are excellent
but expensive. CR found a few bargains.

There have been a few magazine publications out, especially the Sport
Compact and Import Tuner magazine mags who have recently written evaluations
on most of the tire brands out there. Continental and Michelin, BF Goorich
and Goodyear are among the tops. I prefer Continentals.

One of the better sites you can to is tirerack.com. Not knowing your
driving preferences and price range, it is difficult to make a pick.
Look at what will fit on your car for the brands they carry. They
also do some evaluations that they post on-line, as well as buyer
comments.

That should get you started in the pick and choose process.

I have a 2001 L200 with standard rims. I suggest Pirelli P400's. They are
considered touring tires. Far better than Firestone Affinity's IMO.
