Default addmited no clock

Pulled over, received ticket, did not want to show me his clock.
Finally he admitted having no clock on me, and I walked back to see.
He got ****y and I looked in and his equipment appeared turned off.
My passenger with his door still open (was requested), heard him admit to
this.
The guy seemed nice but does he have a chance to win against me?
