F1 dissing women drivers now ?
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Danica Patrick is upset at Formula One boss Bernie
Ecclestone and confused by his comments likening women to "domestic appliances." URL:http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200...x.html?cnn=yes A lot of PR gaffes lately, indicating large underlying problems it seems to me. rms |

He's just a moron. BTW, you don't have to be rich to say what you think - you just have to have balls.

Bernie has never won any personality contests that I'm aware of. And he's rich enough not to have to worry about being politically correct. Such is life. Andrew McP |

When it comes to Bernie, I <don't> think that is what he meant!

Think of it, how the media in America always has to make something out of nothing, for the sake of ratings. Really now, if women are to be thought of as equals, why should it be such an extraordinary thing that we have a women who happens to be a decent race-car driver? But look here, I'm an American myself. But I think this F1 guy was just pulling everyone's chain, critical of how the American media looks at things and what its true motivation is. Alanb |

Your comments on American media ring true, but I wouldn't give Bernie that
much credit.
