Is hot transmission a normal?
On 89 automatic civic, Sometimes I tried to change the gear, I felt hot on the shifting gear bar. Seems like the transmission is hot. Is hot transmission normal or my trans is gone bad? |

Yes the shifting gear bar with metal part is hot. Not reeally hot but it's hot. I did not check the floor pan where shift lever is located but I touched the front panel and it is hot too. |
