There are storage places that specialize in this.

For a couple years, I'd drain the tank, pull the battery, pull the plugs
and put a little wd-40 in the cylinders (not enough to hydrolock) and
on the block. I might hit the suspension with cosmoline spray.

Some folks might use a fuel stabilizer rather than draining it, and that is
probably fine for a year or so, but at some point you'll wish you had
drained things.

I'd probably call a specialist.

I'd run it almost dry, dump some stabil in it, then shoot some fogging
oil into the intake through the brake vacuum line. Then shut it down and
jack it up and park it on jack stands. Toss some moth balls under it and
a cover over the top. Should hold it for a couple years.

A few ounces of MMO in the last TANK of gas, not last gallon, isn't
going to hurt the sensors. It will put less oil thru it then if the
thing was burning a quart every 1000.

Fogging oil or MMO in the gas won't be anywhere near enough to hurt the
O2 sensors. You need to burn a lot more before there is a problem.

the problem is to get enough to help it will hurt. a few oz in the last
tank won`t help at all. pulling the plugs to squirt some oil in ea cyl.
is the safest and most sure way for a sucessfull long term storage
solution. anything else may work, but we know direct cyl app. will work.

I would say drain it if there is any ethanol in the fuel. Put some RON 98 or
MON 94 in it before storing.
