1979 Lincoln Continental Towncar - Newbie Question...
Hi !
I got from my dad a 1979 Lincoln Continental Towncar with only 10,000 miles on it. The car stays in storage near Miami and I drove it in march 2004. It was running fine however the ventialation of the aircondition runs only on the highest level and the cruise control does not work. I want to keep the car in the US and drive it while I am visiting at least once a year. Is there any club etc. where I could get help to exchange knowledge about reliable repair shops etc. . I want to keep this fine car running and in an excellent condition wich may be a little bit extravagant hobby for some person of only average income - I do not know nothing about car repair - I know chemistry but not machinery... :-(. I am planning to drive or have transported the car to Arizona / California and put it in storage there because that it the area which I am visiting most. Any idea about places there may be in Tucson or Phoenix ? Tanks -- Udo J.A. Behner Germany contact me over www.crystalgrowing.com ! |
