For comparison sake - do they have a property tax? If not then it's
probably cheaper than we in the U.S. get.

See my example about a $40K car over ten years and 4 owners. The state
gets at least $20K in tax revenue. That's obscene.

I looked at the Libertarian party - even they have their problems not
the first of which is pie in the sky plans for fixing things.

It took over 200 years for it to build up to this, it's not going to be
fixed overnight.
