Default recent saturn - brake pedal goes to floor?

a relative of mine has a satrun who says the brake pedal goes to the floor -
the repair shop says they can not replicate the problem and tells her the
abs could be fooling her - would hte mos tlikely cause be the master
cyclinder?

More info is needed if you are looking for useful responses from the group.
For instance, Year, make/model? Has the brake fluid gone down any? Did she
have any brake work done or the brakes bled recently?

If there are no leaks or trapped air in the lines, then it could well be the
master cylinder as you suspect. Make sure the brake boost vacuum line is
also attached and not cracked with age.
