I was hesitant to post that and I know you don't know me, but I assure
you, such thoughts are mere fantasy.

I don't think wishing ill on thoughtless assholes who actually are
pleased that they are drawing attention to themselves by irritating
other people is what is wrong with this country.

There is too much that is ****ed up tlo blame it on any one category
of people, but between the loud vehicle crowd and those who wish they
would just go away, I think the loud vehicle crowd deserves MUCH more
of the blame - but it's more a symptom rather than the cause.

Don't worry - the worse I'm going to do is flip you off, and it's very
rare that I even do that. (Too many crazy *******s on the roads to do
that safely).

I don't know about the POS Chevy Aveo, but many cars do allow you to
turn off the audible setting indication.

reduction in vehicle handling.

What would your thought be to having this treated as a high priority by the
police; but with a large fine ($1000?) if a false alarm? Payoff in having a
good alarm, and penalty for having a bad one.

But you have to speculate on the sanity of someone who, after the age of
about eight, drives something that just screams "Look at me. Look at me."
It's really arrested devlopement. I think there are pills for that today.
