Default "TCC System" Code

I've been getting a "TCC System" code for a while now (months) on a 93 Grand
Am. There doesn't seem to be any problems with the way it drives. Can
this effect my gas mileage. What should I do?
Thanks.
DB

Codes means the pcm does not see tcc lock up. Could be a misadjusted stop
lite switch up to a bad tcc solenoid.

Have it checked on a full function scanner to see if the tcc is working,
this can cause the trans fluid to overheat and affect fuel mileage if inop.
