Default 1975 Pacer Gas Cap

I am trying to locate a gas cap for a 1975 Pacer. I am told that this
year the cap is not the same as later years. It is a disc that matches
the color of the car. A friend who is 90 and bought the 75 pacer new
has lost his gas cap after 28 years of driving the car. It would mean
a lot if I could find a replacement for it. The color does not matter,
I can have it painted.

Is also allegedly a locking cap.

Try eBay if a Google "1975 AMC Pacer Gas Cap" doesn't give more
hits than is worth while. May also want to just call a local
auto salvage yard and ask them to search their network for you.

Looks like this may be a good place to start.
