Thanks for the response, Chas. I figured out why my airbag light turned ON.
Can you believe it was the 10 amp minifuse in the fuse box in the engine compartment!! It seems each bag has a fuse per my Chilton manual. So I checked both and one was bad. Still wasnt convinced that this was the problem until I changed it and the light went away. its been a week now and it hasnt come back so that had to be it. So lesson learned - chk tha fuses first b4 getting excited. The dealer wanted $75 to diagnose the problem. And that does not ensure they would find the problem either. I still dont understand why they didnt chk the fuses first. |
